The meteorology of D-Day revisited

Interested in the weather forecast? Those responsible for giving the "go-ahead" fo Operation Overlord in June 1944 certainly were! What really happened on D-Day? This fascinating day of talks will be organised under the aegis of The Royal Meteoroligal Society.

The event is free of charge but advance registration is essential.

So, if you are interested in attending please email your details to FICM trustee Frances Maynard fmaynard@btinternet.com

Frances will then send you the full programme for the day and pass on your details for registration.
